A Higher Standard of Craftsmanship

Your Home. Reimagined.

For 10 years, Modern Touch Contracting has been renovating kitchens, bathrooms and basements in homes across Long Island. The work starts with careful planning: a layout that fits how you live, materials that suit the room and a clear scope before anything is torn out.

From there, it’s about execution. Cabinets set level and true, tile laid out so the cuts land where they should, showers waterproofed before a single tile goes up. Whether the project is a complete kitchen or a single powder room, it gets the same attention.

Craftsmanship

The Details Make the Difference.

Most of what makes a renovation last is invisible once it’s finished. We put the same care into what’s behind the walls as what’s on them.

  1. 01

    Complete project execution

Demolition through final trim, with plumbing, electrical and other trades coordinated as part of the job. One team is accountable for how it all comes together.

  2. 02

    Guidance on layout and materials

We help you weigh cabinet configurations, tile sizes, countertop materials and fixtures based on how they’ll actually be used, not just how they look in a showroom.

  3. 03

Finishing that holds up to a close look

Tight grout lines, centered layouts, clean caulk joints, aligned hardware. The details you notice every day are the ones we spend the most time on.

  4. 04

    Proper installation methods

Showers are waterproofed before tile goes up, substrates are prepared before flooring goes down, and products are installed to the manufacturer’s requirements.

  5. 05

    Built for daily life

Durable surfaces, practical storage and fixtures chosen to last. A renovation should look good on day one and still work well years later.

How we work

Organized from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

Renovations go better when you know what’s happening and what comes next. Here’s how a project with us typically unfolds.

  1. 01

    Initial Consultation

We meet at your home, look at the space as it is today and talk through what isn’t working, what you’d like to change and the budget you have in mind. You’ll get honest feedback on what’s realistic.

  2. 02

    Planning & Material Selection

We help you settle the layout and choose cabinetry, tile, countertops, fixtures and finishes, with recommendations based on how each material holds up in daily use. Your estimate reflects the scope you approve.

  3. 03

    Renovation & Installation

Demolition, rough work, waterproofing, installation and finishing, with qualified trades brought in where the work requires them. We keep you informed as each stage wraps up and the next one begins.

  4. 04

    Final Details & Walkthrough

Trim, caulk lines, hardware alignment, grout haze and touch-ups get handled before we call it done. Then we walk the space with you and address anything you want looked at again.
