Bethpage Kitchen

Project overview

This Bethpage kitchen is built around clean white shaker cabinetry and dark, low-maintenance countertops that stand up to daily cooking.

Glass-front uppers break up the long run of cabinets and give the owners a place to display what they use most. A gray mosaic backsplash adds texture between the counters and the uppers without competing with the cabinetry. At the end of the run, floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets add the kind of bulk storage most kitchens are short on, and an island with seating keeps the cook connected to the rest of the house.
