Bathrooms
Accessible Bathroom & Laundry
An accessible bathroom with a walk-in shower, grab bars and wide doorways, plus a new laundry area.
Project overview
The shower is open, with an L-shaped grab bar, a handheld shower on a slide bar, and corner shelves placed within reach from a seated position.
The toilet area has grab bars on two walls, and doorways were opened up so the bathroom is easy to get into from the hallway. Matte black fixtures and a warm tile wainscot keep it looking like a well-designed bathroom rather than a medical one. A new laundry area with front-loading machines was completed alongside it.
